For the first time in seven years Hult International Business School failed to be listed in the FT ranking and the top 100 MBA programs worldwide. A major blow for the school that has aggressively used the ranking more than most other schools to recruit prospective students. According to Poets&Quants the reason is a single metric that accounts for only 3% of the ranking’s methodology. But Hult has consistently performed poorly in several other components of the FT ranking. Last year faculty research was at place 97 – out of 100, job placement success was 93, and alumni recommendations 91.
