GRE gaining on GMAT

Prospective MBA-students have long used the GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test), an assessment of verbal, quantitative and analytical capabilities, to gain admission into business school. But now the GRE (Graduate Record Examinations), which also measures verbal and quantitative reasoning, is gaining in popularity among applicants and is helping schools hook historians, philosophers and literature majors.
