HEC Paris and Keio Business School launch new Double Degree MBA
HEC Paris and Keio Business School (KBS) have extended their co?operation by launching a Double Degree MBA program to begin in 2012. The HEC Paris?KBS Double Degree MBA aims to train business leaders with direct experience of the Japanese and European business environments, corporate cultures and managerial best practices.
The new program builds on more than twenty years of successful collaboration between HEC Paris and Keio University. This strategic partnership includes student exchanges with Keio Business School and other Faculties and Graduate Schools of Keio University, as well as faculty exchange and joint research activities.
The new program of two academic years will offer solid foundations in management techniques, a broad choice of elective specializations and a strong emphasis on leadership skills and mindset.
Graduates of the Double Degree program will benefit from two powerful alumni networks and extensive career opportunities within Japanese and European multinational companies.
“KBS has been focusing its efforts on enriching multicultural experiences for our students in order to enhance their sense and skills of management in an international environment” said Professor Hirokazu Kono, Dean of the Keio Business School. “I am confident that the HEC Paris-KBS Double Degree MBA will offer a fruitful opportunity for motivated students to acquire the competencies required to become international managers able to lead multinational businesses on their path to globalization.”
Keio University is the oldest private educational institution in Japan. Since 1858, Keio has been appraised as one of the best and the brightest institutions for Japanese higher education.
Keio Business School (KBS) was founded in order to respond to the expectations raised among Japanese economic society that Keio shall foster qualified business leaders, and will celebrate its
50th anniversary in 2012. Its two?year full?time MBA Program and five types of Executive Programs are designed to develop art and skills required for top executives. Just recently in April KBS has received EQUIS accreditation as the first business school in Japan and is now the first Japanese school to receive both the AACSB and EQUIS accreditations.
