Von am 23. September 2011

The China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai launched today its first Executive Education Program in Europe.

The three-day course, called “China Connecting Conversations” is held in Zurich Switzerland from Sept 23-25 and features lectures from five CEIBS Presidents and Expert Professors on a range of China topics relevant for today’s global business leaders.

The objective of this program is to enable business leaders around the world to adapt and succeed in their home market, in China and in the rest of the world, by embracing the rising ‘China Factor’ within the global business context. The program is characterized by a high input of global business leaders who share their real business stories.

Participants are members of global Executive Committees and global Supervisory Boards and regional CEOs of leading companies from around the world, who want to make a difference and share our ambition to foster an inductive climate for global business collaboration. Topics are for example: The ‘China Factor’ in global business context, Key drivers of successful collaboration across borders, How Chinese top companies compete, Chinese, Indian and Western leadership styles and the values of the Chinese GenY, Different models for collaborative innovation and How to drive value from the ‘China Factor’ through co-operative behavior.

As a leading global business school CEIBS has played a major role in the history of China by developing Chinese and Western business leaders with deep China insights and a global mindset. Now CEIBS is taking this role across the borders of China into Europe, US and new growth areas such as Africa, Latin America, and India by delivering executive leadership programs such as the global CEO program, a transformational journey (Shanghai, Sao Paulo) and the CEIBS-Harvard-IESE Business School Joint Global CEO Program for China tailored for China CEOs (Shanghai, Barcelona, Boston)

In the 17 years since its launch, CEIBS has solidified its reputation as the leading international business school in Asia. With campuses in Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen, CEIBS is the first Asia-based business school to receive top-tier global rankings for its MBA, EMBA and Executive Education programs, and is the first b-school in mainland China to win internationally recognized EQUIS accreditation.

CEIBS alumni base of 10,000 now boasts 1,200 CEO-level executives, including many of the most influential new Chinese business leaders.
